Because: Your best leads are sitting under your competitors’ Iinkedln posts.

You just have to collect them.

Most people post and hope.

Count likes.
Count comments.
In the end, reach is high – but the inquiries don’t come.

What they overlook:

The exact same thing is happening with your competitors and every industry influencer.

Hundreds of people like posts about your topic.
They even comment.

They show one thing very clearly:

## **They are thinking about the topic RIGHT NOW.**

These are exactly the people we call **High-Intent People**.

And they are the easiest leads you can imagine.

Here’s how you turn them into your own lead machine:

## **1\. Find 3–5 people or companies in your market**

For example:

→ Competitors
→ Influencers
→ Industry associations

What matters is: They regularly post about your topic.

## **2\. Look at their top posts from the last 30 days**

Meaning the posts with the most:

→ Likes
→ Comments
→ relevant reactions

## **3\. Create a list of warm contacts from this**

You are not cold messaging these people.

You have a reference point.
A real one.

Because they have just actively interacted with a topic that is relevant to your offer.

## **4\. Don’t write a generic connection phrase**

The first message has to be a connection point:

Hey \[First name\], I saw you on \[Name\]’s post about \[Topic\].

For this, we developed a guide / system that delivers \[RESULT\].

If we connect, I’ll gladly send you the process / PDF.

Based on experience, response rates with this method are **2–3× higher** than what cold industry lists deliver.

The reason is simple:

People are active on Iinkedln and were just thinking about exactly this topic.

You reach them in the moment when they are open.

What most people do wrong:

→ They message likers without mentioning the post.
**Wasted ammunition.**

→ They take every liker, including irrelevant contacts.
**Filter first by position, industry and company size.**

→ They wait too long.
**After 14 days, the topic is often already cold again for the lead.**

The High-Intent source is one of the most underestimated levers on Iinkedln.

Reach takes weeks.

You have this list in one hour.

Try it with your competitor’s next viral post.

You’ll be surprised who clicks.

‍

Recruiters find the same kind of warm contacts under expert posts. Someone commenting on a well-known cloud architect’s post is thinking about exactly the topic you are hiring for. Job seekers read the comments under their target employer’s posts and find team leads and future colleagues they can approach. Your list goes into CompLeadly as an imported audience from an Excel file, or contact by contact via the profile link. From there it runs on its own: visit, connection request, a first message that picks up the post once they accept, and a follow-up if they stay silent. The 14-day window from this post applies there too.
