Changing your email address on LinkedIn is a quick and easy way to keep your profile up to date. Whether you want to use a new work email address or simply update your contact details, this guide shows you how to change your LinkedIn email address.

## How to change your LinkedIn email address

Changing your LinkedIn email address is straightforward. Keep in mind that you can only use a valid, verified email address as your new address. LinkedIn will send you a confirmation email to verify the change. Just follow these steps:

1. Click the “Me” icon in the top-right corner of your LinkedIn homepage.
2. Select “Settings & Privacy” from the dropdown menu.
3. Click “Sign in & security”.
4. Click “Change” next to “Email addresses”.
5. Enter your new email address and click “Add email address”.
6. Select “Send verification” to receive a confirmation email.
7. Confirm the change by clicking the link in the email.
8. Sign in to LinkedIn again. Your email address is now updated.

## Link a second email address to LinkedIn
