# Why can’t I see a contact’s email address in the Connect export table, for example, but I can see it in the contact list?

## Sometimes we can’t see email addresses in the export tables for certain features. However, we can see them for the same contact in the contact list. Why is that?

The Connect table records all people and their data who received a connection request through the Connect feature.

They do not need to have accepted the request for the contact to appear here.

This table lists everyone who received the request.

Some people have not allowed people who are not their connections to view certain data, such as their email address.

That is why you cannot see every email address in your table.

As soon as these people accept your request, you become one of the people allowed to view this data, which is why you can see it in the contact list.

Everyone who has accepted your request, and whose requests you have accepted, is listed here.

In other words, your entire network or your contacts.

If you would like to have your contacts’ email addresses, use the Network Export feature.
