Acceptance Rate (Conversion Rate)

Acceptance Rate (Conversion Rate) #Engagement

For connection requests, an acceptance rate of 20% is considered good.

If it is lower, you should adjust your target audience, your message, or your profile.

Your entire LinkedIn presence depends on the latter.

If your acceptance rate has always been above 20% but is now falling below that, there may be several reasons:

  1. Your target audience is exhausted and contains no or only a few contacts with sufficient activity on LinkedIn
  2. The weather is good and the sky is blue. Contacts spend more time outdoors and are less active online.
  3. In general, the acceptance rate is also extremely low at weekends.
  4. It is holiday and vacation season.

Below, you can see the market normalisation. You should be at around 20% here.
The graph does not claim to be guaranteed or proportional; it only shows a trend. For your target audience, the graph may be exactly the opposite or follow a different pattern.
