How to share links in LinkedIn chat effectively

Tips & TricksLast updated on 1 min read

Three proven approaches (the last one is our favourite)

  1. Short post with a link at the end

    • Write a concise post that sums up the value of your website in two to three sentences.
    • Add the link at the very bottom. When someone clicks the link in the post, they land directly on your page without going through the warning screen.
  2. Detailed article with multiple CTAs

    • Use LinkedIn articles to explore the topic in more depth.
    • Include the link in several places—for example, after each section. This gives readers multiple opportunities to click and increases the likelihood of conversions.
  3. Custom Button (FAVOURITE)

Your benefits

  • Smooth user journey: Readers skip the security pop-up entirely.
  • More clicks & conversions: Every visit goes directly to your landing page, noticeably increasing the chances of downloads, demos, or purchases.
  • Stronger engagement: By consuming content within LinkedIn, your target audience receives valuable information before clicking and builds trust faster.

Use one of these three formats to elegantly avoid chat links while increasing engagement across your network.
