CompLeadly lets you dynamically personalise your messages with a time placeholder, so you can use tailored text for each time of day. This makes your messages more relevant and personal.
Creating a time placeholder
To create a time placeholder, select the option to add a new placeholder and name it accordingly. You then define different texts for different time periods. For example, you could set “Good morning” for the time between 8:00 and 11:30 a.m. and “Hello” for times outside that range.
Fine-tuning and expanding
After the initial setup, you can add further time periods with specific text, such as “Good afternoon” for the afternoon or “Good evening” for the evening hours. The flexible time placeholder lets you define your own text for practically every minute of the day.
Testing and adjusting
Once you have set your time periods and texts, you can test the placeholder. Replace the relevant word in your message with the time placeholder and check how the text changes depending on the time. This ensures the right greeting appears at the right time.
