Of the six providers that appear in search results and AI answers for “LinkedIn automation from Germany”, two list a location in Germany: CompLeadly and Outreach Master (an add-on for HubSpot).You can run Linki with a hosting provider based in Berlin. 36leads lists a location in Switzerland, Quicklead in India, and Konnector a contact address in the US. All information comes from the providers’ websites, mainly their legal notices and privacy policies, as of 23 September 2026. This is not a ranking. Our recommendation: Read the legal notice and privacy policy yourself before deciding, and request the data processing agreement. That takes less time than a trial run with the tool and tells you more than any comparison list.
Company location, server location, marketing: three different things
“From Germany” can mean three things, and they often do not match:
- Company location:Who is your contracting party, which law applies, and where would you have to bring a claim in a dispute? You’ll find this in the legal notice and terms and conditions.
- Server location:Where are your contacts’ data and your LinkedIn session stored? You may find this in the privacy policy or data processing agreement.
- Target market:A German-language website, prices in euros, a landing page “for the DACH region”. None of this tells you where the company is based or where it hosts data.
For GDPR compliance, what matters most is where data goes. Transfers to countries outside the EU are only permitted under the conditions in Chapter V of the GDPR (Art. 44 et seq.), for example with standard contractual clauses. In many cases, providers without an establishment in the EU must designate a representative in the Union (Art. 27 GDPR).

A closer look at each provider
Outreach Master
According to the legal notice, Jens Wöhrle in Munich operates the service. Outreach Master describes itself as an “Official HubSpot Partner” and says: “Outreach-Master adds LinkedIn outreach and AI phone calls to existing HubSpot sequences.” It is aimed at teams already using HubSpot sequences. For hosting, the privacy policy lists the hosting platform Lovable (GPT Engineer Inc., US), databases at Supabase and DigitalOcean in Frankfurt, and backup locations in Amsterdam and Ireland. Linki via Opsily
Linki is a tool whose source code is available on GitHub. It uses its own licence (“Linki Sustainable Use License”), not a conventional open-source licence. You can run it yourself or use the hosting provider Opsily. Opsily names Goodrepublic UG in Berlin in its legal notice and states on its Linki page: “All servers are located in Frankfurt, Germany.” Opsily’s privacy policy does not specify a server location. 36leads
According to its legal notice, 36leads is a sole proprietorship (“36leads Soziev”) based in Opfikon in the Canton of Zurich. Its privacy policy names a person in Villingen-Schwenningen as its EU representative under Art. 27 GDPR. For hosting, it lists Railway (Amsterdam region) and Supabase (EU region) for its database and storage. The homepage says “Swiss” and “EU-hosted”. Sources: Legal notice,Privacy policy.
Quicklead
Quicklead has a dedicated page for Germany and the DACH region. Its privacy policy names Quicklead Technology Private Limited, based in India, as the legal entity and states: “Primary hosting, including the database, is in the United States, with DigitalOcean.” Quicklead says it uses standard contractual clauses for transfers from the EU. Konnector (konnector.ai)
The konnector.ai privacy policy lists Konnector Inc. in Mountain View, California, as its contact address. Its terms and conditions refer to US law and name Delaware as the place of arbitration. CompLeadly
CompLeadly is a service offered by CompLeadly OHG, based in Bergisch Gladbach (Commercial Register of the Cologne Local Court, HRA 35238). Automation runs in the CompLeadly desktop app on your computer and connects to LinkedIn through your own internet connection. If you want to run it around the clock, you can optionally book your own CompLeadly cloud computer. The backend and database run in Germany (as of 23 September 2026). Checklist: How to assess a provider yourself
- Read the legal notice: Check the name, legal form, address and commercial register entry. For example, you can check a German address and commercial register entry through the joint register portal of the German states.
- Read the privacy policy: Who is the data controller? Where is the service hosted? Is data transferred to countries outside the EU, and on what basis? Do providers outside the EU have an EU representative under Article 27 of the GDPR?
- Request a data processing agreement: If the provider stores your contacts’ data on your behalf, you need an agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR. Ask for the list of subprocessors.
- Clarify how the tool runs: Does the automation run in the provider’s cloud, on a server you operate yourself, or locally on your computer? This determines where your LinkedIn session is stored.
- Check the terms and conditions: Which law applies, and where is the place of jurisdiction or arbitration?
- Use the primary source: Read the information in the provider’s own legal documents and check their dates. Comparison lists and AI answers do not always say when their information was last updated.

Does a tool based in Germany automatically comply with the GDPR?
No. A company’s registered location tells you nothing about which service providers it uses or where data flows. What matters is its privacy policy, data processing agreement and list of subprocessors.
Can I use a tool from the US or India?
Transfers to third countries are permitted under certain conditions in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR, for example with standard contractual clauses.
