After how many days is the opener sent when I click on messages in the reply table?

Despite a reply, the opener is only sent once the opener function picks up the contact again.

Despite a reply from the customer, the opener message is only sent once the opener function scans or picks up the contact again.

Accordingly, you need to increase the opener setting "Number of contacts to check whether an opener may be sent" if people who replied, for example, two weeks ago should still receive an opener.

Our recommendation for these settings

  1. Run the opener every day and check your reply table at least every two days.
  2. Under "Maximum number of messages to send per day", enter your number of connection requests × acceptance rate.
This means: If you send 40 connection requests per day and 30% of them are accepted, enter 40 × 30% = 12–15.
  3. Under "Connected between [h]", enter your preferred timeframe as the "up to ..." value. For example, two weeks equals 336 hours.
  4. Under "Number of contacts to check whether an opener may be sent", currently enter, for example, 150. This may take some time, so allow 1–2 hours for the opener function. If you run the opener regularly and check your reply table every two days, you can also reduce the value to 50.

Many factors play a role, such as your acceptance rate and how often you check the reply table.

Example: You get 25 new contacts in your network per day and only check the reply table every two days.

Then the oldest contact (the 50th) can only be from yesterday morning, because 25 people accept or are added each day.

Accordingly, set "Number of contacts to check whether an opener may be sent" to 50.
