Invite to event, group or company page – with your own target audience

On LinkedIn, you normally invite contacts to events, groups and company pages from the list LinkedIn suggests. In CompLeadly, you can decide yourself who gets invited if you want – with a target audience from Sales Navigator or LinkedIn.

These functions support your own target audience

  • Invite to event
  • Invite to group
  • Invite to company page

You add them to your workflow via “Add function”.

Default: inviting from LinkedIn's suggestions

If you leave the “Use target audience” field empty, CompLeadly uses LinkedIn's suggestions and sends the invitations from there. This remains the simplest way.

Optional: Use target audience

In the “Function” tab, you enter the link as usual – depending on the function under “Select LinkedIn event”, “Your LinkedIn group” or “Your company page”. Below it, you'll find the optional “Use target audience” field. If it is set, only profiles from this target audience are invited. You have three options:

  • Select an existing target audience: Choose one of your target audiences in the field.
  • Create a new one with AI: Under “What should the target audience be built for?”, choose Sales Navigator or LinkedIn, describe who you want to invite under “Or create a new one with AI” and create the target audience.
  • Paste a search link: Click “Paste a search link instead”, paste a LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search link into the field and give it a name.

Important: The target audience or search should contain only direct (1st-degree) contacts, otherwise the invitations will not work.

LinkedIn itself does not offer this targeted selection – with CompLeadly, you invite people in a targeted and efficient way.
