Sales Navigator requires two-factor sign-in

Last updated on 1 min read

Does CompLeadly show the message "LinkedIn requires two-factor sign-in for Sales Navigator"? Or do the run details say "Sales Navigator: two-factor sign-in needed"? Then LinkedIn wants you to secure your account once with a second factor. Only after that does LinkedIn let Sales Navigator open automatically again.

What you need to do now (about 3 minutes)

1

Sign in to LinkedIn

Open LinkedIn in your browser and sign in with the account you use in CompLeadly.

2

Turn on two-factor authentication

Open your LinkedIn settings, go to the sign-in and security section and turn on two-factor authentication. If it already shows as on, it is active. A guide with screenshots for the LinkedIn app is here: Activate two-factor authentication in the LinkedIn app as a push notification.

3

Open Sales Navigator once

Open Sales Navigator once in your browser. If LinkedIn asks you to confirm something, confirm it.

What happens next

The feature then continues automatically the next time it starts. You don't need to do anything else.

Several LinkedIn accounts in your team? Each account has to turn on two-factor sign-in itself.
