Use case: Win attendees of third-party LinkedIn events for your offer
In this article, you will learn how to win attendees of events organised by other companies or organisers for your own offer. This process allows you to market your product or service effectively to a relevant target audience.
Win attendees of third-party events
You can not only use your own events, as explained here (Guide), but also attendees of events organised by other organisers. Here is the step-by-step guide:
- Find relevant events: Use the keyword search on LinkedIn and choose a relevant topic, such as marketing. Select the “Events” filter option to find suitable events.
- Join the event: To view the attendee list of a third-party event, you need to join the event yourself. Click “Attend” to do so.
- View the attendee list: Once you have joined, you will have access to the attendee list. Open it in a new tab. LinkedIn will now create a search containing all attendees of this event.
- Save the attendee list: Save the link to the attendee list and create a new target audience in CompLeadly.
Communicating with attendees
To get in touch with event attendees and present your offer, follow these steps:
- Create a target audience: Create a new target audience in CompLeadly based on the event attendees.
- Create messages or campaigns: Select the saved target audience and create a new automated messaging or campaign feature. Add a suitable sequence.
- Customise the message: A possible message could be: “Hello, I see we are attending the same event. What interests you most about the topic?” This helps you start a conversation with attendees and present your offer.
