Use LinkedIn on your computer alongside the CompLeadly server
If you use CompLeadly on our server, you may want to access LinkedIn from your own computer at the same time. There is a simple way to do this using a VPN tool.
Using Surfshark
Surfshark is a VPN service that lets you choose so-called static IP addresses. These can be located in Frankfurt, Berlin or other countries, for example.
A static IP gives you a fixed connection that allows you to use LinkedIn directly from your computer without having to use the CompLeadly server.
Installation as a Chrome extension
- Download Surfshark as a Chrome extension.
- Sign up and select the same static IP address on the server and in your Chrome browser (for example, “Number 1” or another one from the list).
- You can then open LinkedIn in your browser on your computer as usual.
Usage recommendation
We recommend using this solution only when CompLeadly is not currently running. This helps you avoid possible overlapping activity.
In this case, you can work on your LinkedIn profile in Chrome as usual, post content or chat with contacts.
