Why use InMails and Connect?

InMails can work alongside Connect to reach even more contacts. To make sure they do not overlap, you need to configure the following:

InMails are always sent to second- and third-degree contacts.

Alongside connection requests, they are your second option for making initial contact.

Learn more: What are InMails

Create a target audience, or use the same one as for Connect, and set up the feature as described in the explainer video.

If you want Connect and InMails to work through the same target audience, activate Expert Mode in the top right corner of the tool:

Then use the same target audience in both features and configure the following in Connect:

This ensures that "Connect" does not contact anyone who either

- has already received an InMail

- or has an Open Profile and can therefore still receive an InMail.

CompLeadly only sends InMails to Open Profiles so that it is not limited by the monthly allowance of 50.

An InMail to an Open Profile is free.

Conversely, there is a setting in InMails:

"Connected" here means that a connection request has been sent, but it does not have to have been accepted yet.

This setting ensures that InMails do not contact anyone who has already been contacted through "Connect".

With these settings, the features work together so you can move through your target audience faster and contact more people per day.
