Workaround for blocking contacts in Smart Chat
In this article, we explain how to successfully block and manage contacts you no longer want to contact. This is a temporary solution until this feature is available directly.
Creating a blocklist in CompLeadly
To block specific contacts, start by moving them to a dedicated target audience. You can call this target audience "Blocklist", for example. Simply select all the contacts you want to block and add them to this group.
After importing the contacts, you will find the blocklist in the left-hand menu under your target audiences. Here, you can check whether all the desired contacts have been added. You can also add new contacts to the blocklist at any time.
Using the blocklist to manage contacts
Once you have created your blocklist, go to the LinkedIn tool and create a new sequence that only uses the Visit and Follow functions. Select the blocklist you created earlier. Set how often the contacts in this list should be visited—for example, never again. It is important to disable all filters to ensure that all contacts in this group are included.
Automatically saving to the team blocklist
In the next step, you can set all scanned profiles to be saved directly to a team blocklist. This list should be created beforehand. At this stage, all captured profiles are added to the blocklist and blocked from future actions. You can also add conditions to ensure that only the desired contacts are removed.Setting up a team blocklist
The team blocklist is easy to set up. Create a new team, for example, "Test A, B, C", and select the functions that should be skipped. Once saved, your team blocklist is ready to use and can be selected in the functions. All scanned contacts are saved automatically and skipped in further actions.
