Campaign message is not sent in a custom (success) sequence

When contacts connect via LinkedIn and are then added to a target audience used for campaign messages, it is important to note: The people must first accept the connection request before they can receive a campaign message.

1. Campaign messages feature

So, if you use a campaign feature with an imported target audience, make sure that the period (1) & (2) during which a contact is to be used is fully defined. (2) should be the number of hours after which you withdraw the contact. For 5 days, this is 120 hours plus a buffer.

For imported target audiences, however, ideally no period (3) should be selected. This restriction is only relevant for target audiences from LinkedIn Sales Navigator or directly from LinkedIn, so that contacts are not contacted twice.

This issue does not occur with imported target audiences, provided you remove the contacts from the target audience after they have been contacted (1) or withdrawn (2) & (3).

From the 2nd campaign messages feature onwards

Do not use a period (1)

Add further conditions in case the contact removes you as a connection.
