Why queues and conditions matter

  • Prevent lists from growing indefinitely
  • Ensure that only relevant contacts are processed
  • Reduce processing time per contact
  • Increase the success rate of connections and campaigns

Conditions for removing contacts

To prevent lists from growing indefinitely, clear conditions must be defined for automatically removing contacts. Typical settings include:

  • Operation completed: The contact has been processed successfully (e.g. a connection request was sent).
  • Connection degree = 1: Contacts who are already in your network no longer need to be on the list.
  • Email required to connect: Contacts who can only be connected with via email are automatically excluded.
  • Open Profile or Auto-InMail sent (optional): Prevents duplicate outreach across different channels.
  • Exceeds the time interval: Contacts that remain on the list for too long are removed automatically.

Recommendations for improving efficiency

  • Remove the connection message: Saves around one minute per profile and increases connection speed.
  • Check time periods: If you are away for an extended period (e.g. on holiday), make sure the time interval is set high enough to prevent incorrect actions.
  • Add conditions regularly: Depending on the workflow, additional criteria can be useful for filtering contacts automatically.
