How do I get Not Usable profiles back into the workflow after they have accepted my connection request but have not yet received a message?
In some cases, contacts from a “Not Usable” target audience should be used in the workflow again. This applies regardless of whether the original workflow came from the setup wizard or another template, as both use the same structure.
Duplicate workflow
- Open the desired workflow.
- Click the three dots on the right.
- Select Duplicate.
- The system creates a copy that is no longer displayed in the graphical interface, but as a sequence.
Adjust functions
- Remove or deactivate all functions in the copied sequence except for the first campaign messaging function.
- This leaves only the part that controls how the target audience is contacted again.
Change target audience to “Not Usable”
- Open the remaining campaign messaging function.
- Change the target audience from, for example, “Setup Wizard” or another original target audience to Not usable field.
- The function then automatically checks whether the contacts have connected in the meantime.
- If so, they will be contacted again (provided they have not yet received a message from you) and saved back to the original target audience.
⚠️Adjust DateRange
- Check the target audience in the Date range field.
- This field determines how long contacts remain in the target audience before they are used again.
- If contacts are very old, you may need to set the value to 99999 so they are considered again.
