Tutorial: Set up informal/formal address detection
CompLeadly can automatically detect whether you are using an informal or formal form of address in an existing conversation with your contact.
This feature is especially useful for ensuring that your messages strike the right tone and are appropriately formal or informal.
Automatic address detection
If you already have a conversation with a contact and want to send a new message, such as a congratulatory message, an opener, automated messages or campaign messages, CompLeadly automatically checks which form of address was used in the previous communication.
Based on this, the system selects the appropriate wording. If the previous conversation used the informal form of address, the corresponding message will use the informal form. The same applies to the formal form of address.
Selecting the right message
You can create your own message templates for both forms of address, informal and formal. CompLeadly checks the previous conversation to determine which form of address was used and then selects the message you prepared for that form.
Fallback option when the form of address is unclear
In cases where the form of address cannot be clearly identified, CompLeadly automatically uses a default message. This approach also applies when communicating in other languages, such as English, Italian, Spanish, and so on.
Support for questions
If you have questions about this feature or how to use it, you can use the support button in CompLeadly at any time to get further help.
